Joe Budden is rumoured to have started the feud in April 2016 when he called out Drake'due south fourth album 'Views' as sounding "uninspired". While speaking on his podcast 'I'll Name This Podcast Later on', he said: "That child on that anthology that I heard sounds existent f*ckin' bromidic. That's what I think. I think that that music is real expert. You tin't fool a real n*gga. That music sounds skillful and I enjoyed it forty, you lot sound amazing. 40 continues to progress. Drake, yous do not." Drake appeared to burn down back at Joe Budden through a Snapchat video posted online by French Montana in May 2016. In a short song snippet, Drizzy could be heard rapping the line "pump, pump it up", actualization to reference Joe Budden's 2003 hit 'Pump It Up'. Amid rumours that Drake was preparing a Joe Budden diss track with French Montana, the Canadian rapper dropped a song called '4PM In Calabasas', which independent a few subliminal shots at Joe Budden - referencing his ex-girlfriend Tahiry among other things. 4. Joe Budden then chosen Drake "fake" on a vicious diss rails.
Budden wasted no time in firing off a direct diss rail at Drake - calling the Canadian rapper "fake", among a number of other harsh lines. On 'Making A Murderer Pt. 1', he rapped: "My words ain't ghostwritten I ain't Drake/ That's all gimmick I'm authentic I own't Drake/ Ain't nothing wrong with it, only saying I ain't imitation".
